Position the Gridwalk expanded-metal mesh panel on its supporting structure (bearers, frame or platform framing) so the panel is fully supported along its bearing edges. Fix the panel down with appropriate fasteners, clips or saddle clamps to prevent movement underfoot. Panels can be laid end-to-end to extend a walkway or platform. Ensure the panel is supported for the span and load of your application. Tips: The diamond openings give slip resistance and allow drainage and airflow, suiting the mesh to walkways, platforms, catwalks and step treads. Inspect panels periodically for bending or damage in high-traffic areas and replace damaged sections. For structural or load-bearing installations, confirm span and load ratings with your engineer or supplier.
