Glanvac 3S Vaccine (APVMA 52397) is registered for the control of caseous lymphadenitis (CLA or cheesy gland) and the prevention of enterotoxaemia (pulpy kidney disease) and tetanus in sheep and lambs, and the prevention of white muscle disease in lambs after they have been vaccinated at marking.
Active constituents
C. pseudotuberculosis (ovis) 6 cpu/mL, Clostridium perfringens type D 5 IU/mL and Cl. tetani 2.5 IU/mL (as ultrafiltered toxoids), 1.0 mg selenium per mL.
Dose
The dose on all occasions is 1 mL injected subcutaneously (just under the skin), high on the neck, behind the ear.
Where to use
The product is to be used only in areas where selenium deficiency is known to be a problem; in all other districts, Glanvac 3 should be used. It is contraindicated for use when selenium intake from pasture is high or selenium is provided by other means (such as top dressing, vaccine, pellets or selenium drenches) if blood selenium levels at treatment are high. Users can determine selenium status by consulting their veterinarian.

Storage
Store between 2°C and 8°C (Refrigerate. Do not freeze). Protect from light. A partially used pack can be stored and used for up to 30 days after first opening when the label steps are followed.
