GENFARM PANZER 540 1000LT 100732244 at a glance

Genfarm Panzer 540 K is a non selective, non volatile, water soluble liquid herbicide used for the control of a broad spectrum of annual and perennial grasses and broadleaf weeds in agricultural and non agricultural situations. It is widely used for pre plant weed control, pasture renovation, fallow management, and general weed knockdown work.
This bulk 1000?L tote is typically used in large scale farming, custom spraying operations, or where high-volume weed control is required.

ACTIVE CONSTITUENT
• Glyphosate: 540?g/L (as the potassium salt) - systemic herbicide absorbed by plant foliage and translocated throughout the plant.

MODE OF ACTION
• Group M Herbicide
• Inhibits EPSP synthase (shikimate pathway), disrupting plant growth.
• Moves through the plant from contact point to root system.
• Does not provide residual control in soil; activity depends on uptake and translocation.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
• Apply to actively growing weeds; visible effects on annual weeds typically occur in 3–7 days, and may take 2–3 weeks under cool or cloudy conditions.
• Best used when weeds are young and actively growing, with thorough spray coverage for maximum efficacy.
• Do not disturb weeds by cultivation, sowing, or grazing for at least 6 hours daylight after treatment for annual weeds and 7 days for perennial weeds to ensure absorption.

WEEDS CONTROLLED
Panzer 540 K controls many annual and perennial grasses and broadleaf weeds across agricultural situations, including fallow areas, pre plant weed control, and pasture renovation. Typical weeds include ryegrass, winter grass, wild oats, capeweed, thistles, and others when applied at recommended rates and conditions.

TANK MIXTURES
• May be tank mixed with certain herbicides, insecticides, and adjuvants (e.g., surfactants such as LI 700 or Wetter TX) when used according to label directions. Good agitation and correct spray volume are crucial for effective mixing.

Transfer the required volume of Genfarm Panzer 540 K from the 1000L IBC into your spray tank using a calibrated pump or flow meter. Mix at the rate on the product label for your specific weed species — typically 2-4 L/ha for annual weeds and 3-5 L/ha for perennial weeds, in 50-200L water/ha. Add ammonium sulphate at 1-2% and a non-ionic wetter as specified on the label if using hard water. Apply to actively growing weeds when no rain is forecast for at least 6 hours. Tips: Store the 1000L IBC in a secure, bunded chemical storage area on a level concrete hardstand. Ensure the IBC is clearly labelled and the bunded area can contain 110% of the IBC volume in the event of a spill. Use a properly calibrated chemical transfer pump with compatible fittings. Record all transfers in your chemical use record.
