N-Sure® Exclusion Gates

Designed to reduce feral movement, the N-Sure 1500mm, 1670mm, and 1800mm gates offer a solution for exclusion fencing applications.

Produced from 25NB hot dipped galvanised pipe, with a wall thickness of 2mm, and mesh spacing graduating from 32mm at the bottom of the gate, to a maximum of 100mm at the upper part of the gate (5mm wire thickness).

Welded collar attached at hinge end to increase compatibility with a broader range of gate hardware, including brooker hinges.

Top and bottom 3mm plate steel gusset adds vertical load carrying capacity at free swinging end of the gate, reducing gate sag increasing ability to absorb downward pressure from larger livestock.

Full notch weld construction for added strength.

Set the gate posts at least 1.8m apart to accommodate the full width, ensuring they're plumb and well-secured with concrete or driven deep into the ground. Hang the gate using heavy-duty hinges rated for the weight, then adjust it so it swings freely without dragging on the ground or catching on the posts. Install your chain or latch mechanism so the gate closes firmly against the post, with enough tension to keep feral and deer from pushing through. Tips: Check your gate regularly after the first few weeks of use—posts can settle and throw the hang out, which makes closing properly a nightmare. If you're running this between paddocks with regular traffic, invest in a self-closing mechanism; it saves you forgetting to shut it and losing stock to ferals or deer pressure.
