GATE HORSE MESH GALVANISED 1.31M X 3.57M CYCLONE 335091 at a glance

Cyclone’s horse gate provides a durable, value-for-money gate solution for your equine fencing.

The gate features 100 mm x 50 mm aperture mesh, securely attached to the interior of the frame to reduce the risk of injury. The design provides greater structural rigidity and support against horse lean, while matching the aesthetic of horse rail fences.

At 1310 mm high, the horse gate is designed for containing horses safely, providing greater visibility, and discouraging jumping and leaning.

The gate is produced from 25NB pipe with a nominal wall thickness of 2 mm and is hot-dipped galvanised inside and out for improved corrosion resistance.

Full notch weld construction reduces flex and increases strength.

The tight aperture mesh reduces the risk of horse hooves getting caught.

Unroll the mesh and lay it flat on level ground to check for any damage before installation. Attach the mesh to your gate frame using galvanised wire, fencing staples, or clips, working from one corner across and down to keep it tight and square. Pull firmly as you secure each section to avoid sagging, and make sure the mesh sits flush against the frame with no gaps that stock could catch on. Tips: Install this mesh on the inside of your gate frame rather than the outside—it keeps horses from chewing or pushing through the edges and makes it harder for them to snag their hooves. Galvanised mesh will last longer if you inspect it after heavy storms or when moving stock through regularly, as bent or torn sections can catch manes and tails. On hot Queensland days, the mesh won't expand as much as timber, so you won't get the binding issues you'd have with wooden panels.
