Unroll the tape and secure one end to a corner post or strainer using the integrated handle loops or tie-offs. Run the tape in a straight line between posts, keeping it taut but not over-stretched, and secure at each post using the handle attachment points or standard insulators. Connect to your energiser using the appropriate terminals, and test the circuit with a fault meter before turning stock in. Tips: Keep the tape clean and dry — dirt and moisture reduce conductivity, especially in high-humidity coastal areas. Check tension regularly after a few days as poly tape can stretch slightly when first installed, and adjust post spacing if you're getting sag between posts in hotter weather. Always use a quality earth stake at least 1 metre long, driven vertically and away from the fence line, to get reliable earthing.
