Supplied with a nylon hinge bush to suit both 25NB and 32NB gates, reduce wear and increase the life of the coating.

Fully adjustable to lower or raise the height/angle of your gate as your post moves over time.

To suit: 20mm timber strap and 25NB-32NB pipe farm gates

Weld or bolt the bottom gudgeon to your gate post at the correct height so the gate pin drops into it cleanly from above. Ensure the gudgeon cup faces upward and is level so the gate swings freely without binding. Allow the gate to settle in the gudgeon under its own weight before checking the clearance between gate and ground. Grease the cup before inserting the pin. Tips: The 400mm BOSAG BBG bottom gudgeon suits 16mm or 20mm gate pins — confirm your gate pin diameter before ordering. A properly installed bottom gudgeon takes most of the gate's weight, so position it accurately at the base of the swing. Re-grease the pivot point annually to prevent rust and wear that causes gates to sag and bind.
