Fit the 3-way gate anchor to your steel/star post at the gateway — hook or clamp it over the star post so it sits firm and square. Connect your electric gate handles to the anchor's junction points; it takes up to three handles at one location so you can bring several gates or fence runs together. Make sure each handle hooks on cleanly and the live connection is tight so the pulse carries across the junction. Test the gateway with a fence tester before turning stock through. Tips: Position the anchor at a comfortable height on the post so gate handles are easy to reach and unhook. Inspect the junction and handle hooks every few months, especially after heavy weather, as corrosion or a loose handle will drop your voltage across the gateway. Keep grass and weeds cleared from around the gateway so they don't short the live handles or junction to earth.
