Garlon 600 Herbicide is for the control of a range of woody weeds and melons as specified in the Directions for Use on the registered label.
Situations: agricultural non-crop areas, commercial and industrial areas, forests, pastures and rights-of-way; fencelines and fire trails; fallow, stubble, firebreaks; sorghum.
Application methods: high volume spraying, aerial application, and basal bark and cut stump treatment (mixed in diesel).
Active constituent: 600 g/L triclopyr present as the butoxyethyl ester. Group 4 herbicide.
Withholding period: pasture and sorghum - not required when used as directed.

Common Questions
What does Garlon 600 control?
It is for the control of a range of woody weeds and melons as specified in the Directions for Use, including African boxthorn, blackberry, brigalow, camphor laurel, gorse, common prickly pear, tiger pear, wattles, camel (Afghan, bitter) melon and prickly paddy melon. See the label for rates and growth stages for each weed.
Where can Garlon 600 be used?
The label lists agricultural non-crop areas, commercial and industrial areas, forests, pastures and rights-of-way; fencelines and fire trails; fallow, stubble and firebreaks; and sorghum.
Is there a withholding period?
Pasture: not required when used as directed. Sorghum: not required when used as directed. The label also states poisonous plants may become more palatable after spraying and stock should be kept away from these plants until they have died down.
How is Garlon 600 applied?
The label covers high volume spraying, aerial application, and basal bark and cut stump treatment, where Garlon 600 is mixed in diesel. Weeds need to be actively growing for herbicides to have optimum effect.
