This heavy-gauge post suits high-stress applications including cattle holding yards, race systems, and exposed paddock locations where a standard-weight post may flex. The hot-dipped galvanising provides long-term rust protection in rural Queensland conditions. Tips: Heavy gauge posts are particularly suited to corners, gate posts, and any location where lateral loading from wire tension or stock pressure is high. Drive these posts on moist ground where possible — they're harder to drive in bone-dry clay.
