Slide the 100mm x 100mm galvaboard post cap over the top of your 100 x 100 SHS post and tap down until seated flush. The larger cap suits heavier structural posts used in gate assemblies, yard panels, and carport or shed uprights. Ensure the post is cut square for a tight, watertight fit. Tips: 100mm x 100mm is a common size for yard gate posts and structural uprights. Capping prevents water pooling inside hollow sections, which causes internal rust that's invisible until the post fails.
