Active Ingredients:

Fipronil 100g/L,
(S)-methoprene 90g/L

How does it work:

Frontline Plus is a monthly topical treatment for fleas and ticks on dogs.
It contains two main ingredients – fipronil and (s)-methoprene. Both the ingredients protect dogs from harmful flea infestation.

Fipronil directly attacks adult fleas and kill them for the whole month.
This key ingredient gets collected on the hair follicles and oils of the skin, and it is continuously released from the hair follicles onto the skin and coat.

The other active ingredient (S)-methoprene is an insect-growth regulator.
It disturbs the life cycle of fleas and ticks, and prevents re-infestation.
Acting as insect-growth regulator, it inhibits growth of flea eggs or flea larvae and stops developing them into adult fleas.
Thus, kills all life stages of fleas. It further protects canines from future infestation.

Safe for all breeds of dogs, Frontline Plus is effective for lactating and pregnant bitches also.

Weigh your dog accurately to confirm it falls within the 20-40kg range for this purple pack. Part the fur between the shoulder blades, apply the entire contents of one pipette directly to the skin (not the fur), and ensure the liquid makes contact with the skin. Repeat this treatment every 4 weeks year-round. Do not bathe your dog for 48 hours before or after application. Tips: Always treat all pets in your household at the same time — a cat with fleas will reinfest a treated dog. In Gympie's warm climate, fleas breed year-round, so maintain regular 4-weekly applications even in cooler months. Consider treating your home and yard with an environmental flea spray to target eggs, larvae and pupae, as adult fleas on your pet represent only 5% of the total flea population.
