Founderguard Granular Feed Additive for Horses. Use in conjunction with high grain diets to maintain low blood D-lactate (of gut origin) and to reduce the risk of laminitis.
Dose: FOUNDERGUARD can be fed alone or mixed with other feed ingredients to provide 5g FOUNDERGUARD / 100kg bodyweight per day (e.g. 25g / day for a horse weighing 500kg).
Restraints: DO NOT USE in food producing species of animals. The effect of FOUNDERGUARD has not been assessed in breeding horses and therefore should not be given to pregnant mares or stallions used for breeding.
Withholding periods: DO NOT USE in horses that may be used for human consumption.
