Ranvet's Folactin Red Stud Formula. Mineral Supplement for Horses. Formulated to meet the specific needs of paddocked and stud horses of all ages. For animal treatment only.
FOLACTIN RED provides a supplementary source of essential minerals, vitamins and micro-elements that are most likely to be deficient, or in short supply, in a horse's diet. Feed FOLACTIN RED on a daily basis to help overcome mineral imbalances; and to help promote proper absorption, utilization and retention of calcium and phosphorus in the horse's system. Feed FOLACTIN RED to aid in the maintenance of skeletal mineral reserves and correct blood calcium levels; thus ensuring efficient bone marrow, cellular, tissue and muscle function.
Directions for use
Precaution: Use with Caution as FOLACTIN RED contains a copper salt. Care should be taken when administering to horses when the diet is copper sufficient.
Mix the powder thoroughly through the feed; or alternatively, mix with a little damp bran and add to the feed. Spread dose over two feeds.
Daily dose rates
- Pregnant mares: 120g
- Lactating mares: 150g
- Empty mares: 90g
- Stallions: 60-90g
- Foals (creep-fed) to 3 mths: 15-30g
- Foals (creep-fed) to 5 mths: 30-45g
- Weanlings: 60-120g
- Yearlings: 120g
- Horses (over 16 years): additional 60g
A measuring spoon is enclosed. ONE LEVEL MEASURE equals one 30 g dose.
