Post-harvest fruit spray: avocados (anthracnose, stem-end rot); bananas (anthracnose - black-end); pawpaws (anthracnose, stem-end rot); mangoes (anthracnose, Alternaria rot). Pineapples (fruit dip): water blister. Sugar cane setts at planting: pineapple disease. Turf: dollar spot. State restrictions apply (see label). (APVMA 30484)

Sportak is registered for the control of certain post-harvest diseases of tropical fruits, pineapple disease in sugar cane setts and dollar spot in turf, as specified in the Directions for Use table on the label. Avocados (Qld, NSW, WA, NT only) – anthracnose, stem-end rot: 55 mL/100 L water. Spray fruit for 30 seconds. DO NOT use on avocado cultivar Rincon. Bananas (Qld, NSW, WA, NT only) – anthracnose (black-end): 55 mL/100 L water. Spray fruit for 30 seconds. Pawpaws (Qld, NSW, WA, NT only) – anthracnose, stem-end rot: 55 mL/100 L water. Spray fruit for 1 minute. Mangoes (Qld, NSW, WA, NT only) – anthracnose: 55 mL/100 L water. Spray fruit for 30 seconds. Alternaria rot (Qld, WA, NT only): 55 mL/100 L water. Spray fruit for 30 seconds. Pineapples (Qld, NSW, WA only) – water blister: 55 mL/100 L water. Dip fruit for 1 minute. Top-up the dip as required using a concentration of 85 mL/100 L water. Sugar cane (Qld, NSW, WA, NT only) – pineapple disease: 40 mL/200 L water. Apply as a dip or spray to setts at planting. Ensure thorough coverage of all cut ends. Turf (Qld, NSW, Vic, SA, WA, NT only) – dollar spot: 65 mL/50 to 100 L water/100 m². Apply in a monthly spray programme when disease first appears. Apply evenly to ensure thorough coverage. DO NOT apply more than two consecutive sprays of fungicides from the same activity group (other than Group 14, 28, M2, M3, M4 or M5), unless mixed with a protectant fungicide from Group 14, 28, M2, M3, M4 or M5. For tropical fruits, Sportak should be used in nonrecirculating spray systems only. DO NOT use this product as a foliar spray on fruit, as it may cause burning of foliage. DO NOT graze stock on treated turf, or feed clippings from treated turf, treated fruit or byproducts from treated processed fruit to livestock. Add the required amount of Sportak to the water in the dip or spray tank/reservoir and stir thoroughly to ensure complete mixing. Prepare and use spray and dip solutions only in well-ventilated areas. Withholding period: not required when used as directed. Always read the registered label before use (APVMA 30484).
