Elanco Flubenol Oral Wormer for Pigs and Chickens, 600 g. Active constituent: 50 mg/g flubendazole. APVMA 86633.
Flubenol can be used as an aid for the control of sensitive strains of the following internal parasites: gastrointestinal worms (Ascaridia galli, Heterakis gallinarum, Capillaria spp., Raillietina spp.) in chickens and gastrointestinal worms (Ascaris suum, Hyostrongylus rubidis, Oesophagostomum dentatum) and lungworm (Metastrongylus apri) in pigs.
Administration
Flubenol should be thoroughly mixed into feed to ensure even distribution of the medication. Feed can be administered as either a mash, crumble or pellet. Use treated feeds within 6 months of preparation. Do not overdose. This product is contraindicated for use in pigeons and parrots. Resistance may develop to any chemical.
Withholding periods
Meat (chicken): remove all medicated feed 7 days before slaughter for human consumption.
Eggs: zero (0) days.
Meat (pig): remove all medicated feed 7 days before slaughter for human consumption.
Export slaughter interval (pigs): do not use less than 7 days before slaughter for export.
