For the treatment of milk fever, grass tetany and associated metabolic conditions in cattle and sheep. Administer by subcutaneous injection. Subcutaneous injection should be given under the skin of the neck or over the ribs. Large volumes should be distributed over more than one injection site. If possible warm to body temperature prior to injection. Gently squeeze the bag to inject the contents. Maintain cleanliness at all times and disinfect the injection site. Dose: Cattle - small cows 500 mL; heavier cows 500-1000 mL. Sheep - small breeds 40-70 kg: 60-100 mL; heavier breeds 70-100 kg: 100-150 mL. If complete recovery does not occur within 3-4 hours repeat injection and seek veterinary advice. Use of this product intravenously may be hazardous to the animal and advice from a registered veterinarian should be sought. Use the contents within 24 hours of first broaching of the pack. Discard the unused portion. Store below 25°C (air conditioning). Protect from light. Withholding periods: Meat: zero (0) days. Milk: zero (0) days.
