Highly engineered, tight cross-over Stiff Stay knot

Murray Stiff Stay prefabricated fencing is made exclusively on the Stiff Stay machine at our Albury Manufacturing facility in regional Australia.

Murray Stiff Stay specifically designed to protect by providing a barrier against smaller marsupials, dogs, pigs and feral animals.

Stiff Stay Exclusion Fencing is produced with graduated line wire spacings. The tighter 15cm stay spacings further improve its ability to withstand impact.

2.80mm high tensile top and bottom wires for added strength

2.50mm high tensile line wires and 2.50mm picket wires

Unroll the mesh along your fence line and secure the bottom edge with a spade or by pegging every 1-2 metres to prevent sagging. Attach the mesh to your existing fence posts using fencing wire or staples, working from one end to the other and keeping tension consistent. Pull the top edge taut before securing, and overlap joins by at least one diamond pattern if you're joining multiple rolls. Tips: Install this mesh in cooler months if you can—heat makes the material harder to work with and less forgiving if you make mistakes. Don't skimp on securing points; underestimating how much a mob of cattle will test a loose fence line is a costly mistake most of us make once. Keep the bottom edge as close to ground level as possible to stop lambs or calves from crawling underneath.
