Unroll the fence and lay it out along your fence line, then secure the bottom wire to your posts with fencing staples or clips, working from one end to the other. Pull the fence reasonably tight as you go—it doesn't need to be drum-tight like barbed wire, just firm enough that it won't sag into dips. Once secured top and bottom, go back and nail off the intermediate wires to keep the mesh square and stop stock pushing through the gaps. Tips: Keep your posts no more than 1.5 metres apart with this lighter gauge, especially if you're using it on country with slopes or rough terrain. The 2mm wire is thinner than heavier Maxloc, so it won't handle the same abuse from determined stock or rough handling during installation—take your time unrolling and laying it out to avoid kinks and damage. Always check your fencing sits properly on the ground; any gap between the bottom wire and earth is an invitation for younger lambs or pigs to squeeze under.
