Unroll the Maxloc Lite along your fence line and secure to your starting post with a minimum of three staples per post, driving them home squarely. Run your wire tensioner along the full 50m length to bring the fence up firm and tight, then staple at each post working from one end to the other. Space your posts around 4 to 7 metres apart for cattle and closer for sheep to prevent sagging between supports. Tips: Don't skimp on tensioning—a loose fence will sag within months and give stock a chance to push through or jump over. Use a proper fence staple gun or hammer to drive staples in straight and fully; wonky staples will pull out when the wire works against them in wind or when stock test the fence. On sandy country, dig your post holes deeper and pack the bases firm, because Maxloc Lite isn't as rigid as a heavy-duty stay fence and relies on post stability.
