FENCING GALMAX PROTOUGH + FOOTER 13/115/15 100M AWP 350588
One of the toughest wire fences Australia has ever seen.
ProTough Field Fence with Footer 13/115/15, Suitable for, Vermin, Pigs, Wild Dogs, Wallabies, Kangaroos
The ProTough fence range supplied by GalMAX comes with the renowned strength of the Fixed Knot construction, together with the heavier wires, to make this one of the toughest wire fences.
Australia’s most innovative hinged apron design.
In an Australian first, the ProTough Feral Bloc exclusion range features a strong hinged apron design.
Existing Fixed Knot exclusion fences, with a forced apron effect, place increased stress on your fence posts.
The Ultimate ProTough design includes the innovative hinged apron footer, which creates a true ground barrier that is built to handle extreme pressure without placing unnecessary tension on your fence posts.
Features:
The high tensile top and bottom wires are 3mm thick, combined with 2.6mm high tensile picket wires and 2.5mm high tensile line wires - the strongest combination of wires supplied by GalMAX.
Tension crimps in the line wires provide for greater expansion and contraction of the fence in extreme temperatures.
This also allows for heavy impact from animals, resulting in a much more resilient fence that retains tension.
The fixed knot is wrapped around both the line and picket wires, allowing for improved movement and better flow across undulating ground.
The single vertical, high tensile picket wire adds a stiffness to the product, allowing fence posts to be spaced further apart.
All wires are heavily galvanised for extended life.
Common Questions
What animals is this fence suitable for?
ProTough Field Fence with Footer 13/115/15 is suitable for vermin, pigs, wild dogs, wallabies, and kangaroos.
What makes this fence so tough?
The ProTough range uses fixed knot construction with heavier wires throughout. The top and bottom wires are 3mm thick high tensile steel, combined with 2.6mm high tensile picket wires and 2.5mm high tensile line wires — the strongest wire combination GalMAX supplies. All wires are heavily galvanised for extended life. The fixed knot wraps around both line and picket wires for improved movement and better performance across uneven ground.
What's the hinged apron footer and how does it work?
The innovative hinged apron design creates a true ground barrier to keep out burrowing pests. Unlike forced apron designs, the hinged apron footer handles extreme pressure without placing unnecessary tension on your fence posts, making it a tougher, more sustainable exclusion fence.
How does this fence handle extreme weather?
Tension crimps in the line wires allow the fence to expand and contract in extreme temperatures. This design also lets the fence absorb heavy impact from animals, so it stays resilient and retains tension better than standard fences.
