FENCING GALMAX PROTOUGH 17/190/30 200M AWP 350630
One of the toughest wire fences Australia has ever seen.
ProTough Field Fence 17/190/30, Suitable for, Wild Dogs, Pigs, Wallabies, Roos, Deer
The ProTough fence range supplied by GalMAX comes with the renowned strength of the Fixed Knot construction, together with the heavier wires, to make this one of the toughest wire fences.
Australia’s most innovative hinged apron design.
In an Australian first, the ProTough Feral Bloc exclusion range features a strong hinged apron design.
Existing Fixed Knot exclusion fences, with a forced apron effect, place increased stress on your fence posts.
The Ultimate ProTough design includes the innovative hinged apron footer, which creates a true ground barrier that is built to handle extreme pressure without placing unnecessary tension on your fence posts.
Features:
The high tensile top and bottom wires are 3mm thick, combined with 2.6mm high tensile picket wires and 2.5mm high tensile line wires - the strongest combination of wires supplied by GalMAX.
Tension crimps in the line wires provide for greater expansion and contraction of the fence in extreme temperatures.
This also allows for heavy impact from animals, resulting in a much more resilient fence that retains tension.
The fixed knot is wrapped around both the line and picket wires, allowing for improved movement and better flow across undulating ground.
The single vertical, high tensile picket wire adds a stiffness to the product, allowing fence posts to be spaced further apart.
All wires are heavily galvanised for extended life.
Common Questions
What animals is this fence suitable for?
ProTough Field Fence 17/190/30 is suitable for wild dogs, pigs, wallabies, roos, and deer.
What makes this fence so tough?
It combines Fixed Knot construction with heavier wires. The top and bottom wires are 3mm thick high tensile steel, with 2.6mm high tensile picket wires and 2.5mm high tensile line wires — the strongest wire combination GalMAX supplies. All wires are heavily galvanised for extended life.
What's the hinged apron design and why does it matter?
ProTough features an innovative hinged apron footer that creates a true ground barrier. Unlike forced apron designs, this hinged system handles extreme pressure without placing unnecessary stress on your fence posts, making it more durable overall.
How does this fence handle extreme weather?
Tension crimps in the line wires allow the fence to expand and contract in extreme temperatures. This design also helps the fence absorb heavy impact from animals, so it stays resilient and retains tension better in tough conditions.
How far apart can I space the fence posts?
The single vertical high tensile picket wire adds stiffness to the product, which allows fence posts to be spaced further apart than standard fences. For exact spacing recommendations, check the product label or contact TGRM on (07) 5482 1692.
