FENCING GALMAX MAXLOC HORSE FENCE 13/122/5 50M AWP 300565 at a glance

Max-Loc Horse Fence has a unique smooth knot design which helps prevent injury to valuable animals.

Small aperture vertical mesh specifically designed to prevent horses from injury through stepping through or walking down the fence.

GalMAX Fencing Max-Loc Field Fencing range is supplied in 2.50mm high tensile heavily galvanised wire.

All wires are heavily galvanised for extended life.

Unroll the fencing mesh and lay it out along your fence line, making sure it's straight and not kinked. Secure the mesh to your posts using fencing staples or wire at the top, middle, and bottom sections, pulling it reasonably tight as you go. For horses, ensure the bottom of the mesh sits close to the ground to prevent them getting a leg underneath, and check all staples are driven home properly so there's nothing to catch on. Tips: Don't over-tension the mesh during installation—horses will lean and test the fence, so a bit of give is better than having it snap or pull posts out. Check the fence line after heavy rain or wind, as horses are heavy animals and the mesh can shift; retighten any loose sections before they become a problem. Keep the grass trimmed back from both sides of the fence so you can spot damage early and maintain proper tension.
