FENCING GALMAX MAXLOC FERAL BLOC 2.50MM 15/150/15 100M AWP 300590 at a glance

Max-Loc Feral Bloc pre-fabricated fence is offered in both a constant size mesh and graduated mesh spacings.

Graduated mesh spacing prevent smaller animals penetrating the fence.

Both style fences provide an impact resistant barricade against marsupials such as wallabies and kangaroos, also dogs, pigs and feral animals.

GalMAX Fencing Max-Loc Field Fencing range is supplied in 2.50mm high tensile heavily galvanised wire.

The ProTough fence range supplied by GalMAX comes with the renowned strength of the Fixed Knot construction, together with the heavier wires, to make this one of the toughest wire fences.

Australia’s most innovative hinged apron design.

In an Australian first, the ProTough Feral Bloc exclusion range features a strong hinged apron design.

Existing Fixed Knot exclusion fences, with a forced apron effect, place increased stress on your fence posts.

The Ultimate ProTough design includes the innovative hinged apron footer, which creates a true ground barrier that is built to handle extreme pressure without placing unnecessary tension on your fence posts.

Features:

Tension crimps in the line wires provide for greater expansion and contraction of the fence in extreme temperatures.

This also allows for heavy impact from animals, resulting in a much more resilient fence that retains tension.

The fixed knot is wrapped around both the line and picket wires, allowing for improved movement and better flow across undulating ground.

The single vertical, high tensile picket wire adds a stiffness to the product, allowing fence posts to be spaced further apart.

All wires are heavily galvanised for extended life.

Unroll the netting and stretch it firmly along your fence line, keeping it taut to prevent sagging. Secure the top and bottom edges using appropriate star pickets or fence posts at 2-3 metre intervals, ensuring the 15mm mesh openings face outward toward the animals you're keeping in. Pull the netting tight as you go to maintain consistent tension across the full 100 metre roll. Tips: Install this fencing in cooler weather if possible, as heat can affect the tension and make stretching harder. Check your fence line regularly after the first few weeks as the galvanised mesh can settle, and retension any sagging sections before stock learn to test it. Keep the bottom edge flush with the ground to stop small livestock pushing underneath.

Common Questions

What animals will this fence keep out?

Max-Loc Feral Bloc is designed to provide an impact resistant barricade against marsupials such as wallabies and kangaroos, as well as dogs, pigs and feral animals.

What's the difference between the constant and graduated mesh options?

Max-Loc Feral Bloc comes in both constant size mesh and graduated mesh spacings. The graduated mesh spacing is designed to prevent smaller animals from penetrating the fence.

Why is the hinged apron design better?

The ProTough Feral Bloc features an innovative hinged apron design that creates a true ground barrier built to handle extreme pressure without placing unnecessary tension on your fence posts. This is different from older forced apron designs that can stress posts.

Will this fence hold up in extreme weather?

Yes. The fence wire includes tension crimps in the line wires that allow for greater expansion and contraction in extreme temperatures. All wires are heavily galvanised for extended life. The Fixed Knot construction also allows for improved movement and better flow across undulating ground.
