FENCING GALMAX MAXLOC FERAL BLOC + FOOTER 13/115/15 100M AUSTAL 300588 at a glance

Max-Loc Feral Bloc pre-fabricated fence is offered in both a constant size mesh and graduated mesh spacings.

Graduated mesh spacing prevent smaller animals penetrating the fence.

Both style fences provide an impact resistant barricade against marsupials such as wallabies and kangaroos, also dogs, pigs and feral animals.

GalMAX Fencing Max-Loc Field Fencing range is supplied in 2.50mm high tensile heavily galvanised wire.

The ProTough fence range supplied by GalMAX comes with the renowned strength of the Fixed Knot construction, together with the heavier wires, to make this one of the toughest wire fences.

Australia’s most innovative hinged apron design.

In an Australian first, the ProTough Feral Bloc exclusion range features a strong hinged apron design.

Existing Fixed Knot exclusion fences, with a forced apron effect, place increased stress on your fence posts.

The Ultimate ProTough design includes the innovative hinged apron footer, which creates a true ground barrier that is built to handle extreme pressure without placing unnecessary tension on your fence posts.

Features:

Tension crimps in the line wires provide for greater expansion and contraction of the fence in extreme temperatures.

This also allows for heavy impact from animals, resulting in a much more resilient fence that retains tension.

The fixed knot is wrapped around both the line and picket wires, allowing for improved movement and better flow across undulating ground.

The single vertical, high tensile picket wire adds a stiffness to the product, allowing fence posts to be spaced further apart.

All wires are heavily galvanised for extended life.

Unroll the mesh and lay it out along your fence line, ensuring the footer sits flat on the ground to prevent animals burrowing underneath. Secure the top of the mesh to your existing fence posts or standards using fencing wire or clips, spacing them every 30cm or so to keep it tight. Pull the mesh reasonably taut as you go, but don't over-tension it — you want it snug, not strained. Once secured top and bottom, check for any gaps where stock or feral animals could get through, particularly at ground level. Tips: The footer is your main defence against rabbits, pigs, and other diggers, so make sure it's lying flat and pegged down properly — don't just rely on the mesh weight alone. In hot weather, galvanised mesh can expand slightly, so install it in cooler parts of the day and leave a tiny bit of slack to account for movement. Check your corners and gate areas regularly, as animals tend to test these spots first.

Common Questions

What animals will this fence keep out?

Max-Loc Feral Bloc is designed to exclude marsupials such as wallabies and kangaroos, as well as dogs, pigs and feral animals. The graduated mesh spacing option prevents smaller animals from penetrating the fence.

What makes the hinged apron footer different?

The innovative hinged apron design creates a true ground barrier without placing unnecessary tension on your fence posts. Unlike forced apron designs, the hinged apron can handle extreme pressure while keeping stress off the posts.

How does this fence handle rough weather and animal impacts?

Tension crimps in the line wires allow the fence to expand and contract in extreme temperatures and absorb heavy impacts from animals, so it stays resilient and keeps its tension. All wires are heavily galvanised for long life.

How far apart can I space my fence posts?

The single vertical, high tensile picket wire adds stiffness to the fence, allowing posts to be spaced further apart than standard fencing. For exact spacing recommendations, check the product label or contact TGRM on (07) 5482 1692.
