The Gallagher Fence Monitor is part of an i Series fence energiser system — it does not have its own display and is not installed like a standalone energiser. Connect the Fence Monitor into your i Series energiser/controller setup and to the fence zone(s) you want to watch (up to six zones), following the Gallagher i Series installation manual. Once connected, the monitor reports fence voltage and current back to the Energizer/Controller, where you view the readings and set the alarm voltage threshold for each zone. To receive alerts on your phone, connect the i Series energiser to a Gallagher WiFi Gateway and sync the Ag Devices app. The monitor uses the energiser's existing earth system — it does not require its own earth stake or a supplied display cable. Tips: Use the zones to split a large fence network into sections so a fault is easier to locate, and use the Remote / Fault Finder to pinpoint the problem zone. Set realistic alarm thresholds so you are notified before the fence drops below an effective voltage.
