StudX is a Premium Black Fence Finish. StudX applies easily and dries rapidly to give an excellent flat black finish. It is long lasting and looks great.

Stir Fence Finish StudX Black thoroughly before use. Apply to clean, dry timber fence surfaces using a brush, roller, or mop applicator. Ensure surfaces are free of dirt, grease, and loose material before application. Work the product into end grain cuts and any areas where the original finish has worn through, particularly around ground contact zones where moisture penetration is highest. Two coats are recommended on exposed cut ends and high-wear areas. Coverage is approximately 10–16 m² per litre depending on surface porosity and application method. Allow adequate drying time between coats. Note: StudX contains CribX — a proprietary cribbing deterrent designed to discourage horses and livestock from chewing fence posts and rails. Tips: Wear gloves and eye protection during application — StudX is a permanent black finish that stains clothing and skin. Keep containers sealed when not in use to prevent skinning. Store in a cool, dry location out of direct sunlight. Do not allow to freeze. Clean tools and equipment with water immediately after use before the product dries.
