Easy Storage & Installation

Assemble the three-piece tombstone hay bail feeder on a level, well-drained surface. Bolt or pin the panels together at the vertical connection points and stand the circular frame upright, ensuring all fastenings are tight before loading. Place a round hay bale in the centre of the feeder — the tombstone slots allow cattle and horses to reach in from all sides. Position in the paddock away from boggy ground or troughs to keep the feeding area clean. Tips: Move the feeder regularly to avoid overgrazing and mud buildup around it. Position the feeder on a slight slope so water drains away from the base, keeping feed fresh and the ground firmer for longer. During wet seasons, placing the feeder on a rubber mat or gravel pad significantly extends how long each bale stays dry and usable. Check fastenings every few weeks as vibration from stock use can work bolts loose.
