AWP's I-Safe Farm Gate is supplied with graduated horizontal mesh spacings (closer mesh spacings graduating from the bottom up) which will ensure an effectively superior barrier in preventing most feral pests & smaller livestock breaching the I-Safe gate.

Set your posts 4780mm apart and ensure they're plumb before hanging the gate. Use galvanised hinges rated for the gate's weight and bolt them securely to the post—don't rely on nails. Hang the gate so it swings freely with a slight downhill slope away from the hinge side, then adjust your latch or chain to secure it properly once you've confirmed the swing isn't binding. Tips: Check your post spacing before you buy—16 feet sounds straightforward but even 50mm out will cause the gate to bind or leave gaps that stock can exploit. The vertical stay mesh design is stronger than horizontal stay, so it'll handle repeated opening and won't sag as quickly, but you still need solid posts and good maintenance on hinges.
