Set your posts 3600mm apart centre to centre and make sure they're plumb before hanging. Bolt the hinges to the post using the hardware supplied, then hang the gate and check it swings freely without dragging on the ground. Adjust the hinges if needed so the gate closes properly and latches securely each time. Tips: Install your gate so it swings uphill if possible—makes it easier to open and close, and gravity helps it shut. Check your post spacing before you order; 12ft is standard but if your gap isn't spot on, you'll have binding or gaps that let stock through.
