EQUI-SOLFEN Anaesthetic & Antiseptic Wound Solution for Horses, 250 mL.
EQUI-SOLFEN ANAESTHETIC & ANTISEPTIC WOUND SOLUTION is a local anaesthetic and antiseptic spray to provide pain relief for use on horses for traumatic superficial skin wounds.
Active constituents: 40.6 g/L Lignocaine (as hydrochloride), 24.8 mg/L Adrenaline (as acid tartrate), 5.0 g/L Cetrimide, 4.2 g/L Bupivacaine (as hydrochloride).
EQUI-SOLFEN can be applied to superficial skin wounds once daily for up to 7 days. Do not exceed a maximum total dose of 80 mL for horses.
DO NOT USE on horses that may be used for human consumption.
Administration of EQUI-SOLFEN to wounds for pain control is not intended to replace the need for attention of a veterinary surgeon.

How much do I apply?
As a guide, wounds in horses are anticipated to require 1 ml per 4 cm2 for adequate coverage. For example, a wound of approximately 2 cm x 2 cm (i.e. 4 cm2) would require 1.0 mL of EQUI-SOLFEN. Do not spray to run-off.
Can it be used on any horse?
DO NOT USE on horses that may be used for human consumption. Not intended for treatment of wounds near the mouth, eyes and nose.
