Unroll the netting on flat ground and check for any damage before installing. Drive the posts into the ground at the spacing recommended by the manufacturer, then attach the netting securely to each post, making sure the electric conductors are making good contact. Connect the energiser to a power source or battery, then test the fence with a voltmeter to confirm you're getting a good shock before putting stock through. Always ensure the ground is moist enough to conduct electricity properly, or the fence won't work effectively.
