Once your strainer post is in, our bolt-on round post assembly kits take less than five minutes to install.

The kits are all made from steel and are either hot dipped galvanised, galvabond, or stainless steel.

This means they are termite proof, rot proof, fireproof, and long lasting.

Assemble the end assembly kit on the ground before installation. Slide the 40NB stay tubes into the fitting at the correct angle (typically 45° from the main post), secure all bolts and pins, then position the assembled unit at the end of your fence line. Drive or bury the 100NB main post to the required depth (minimum 600mm in firm ground, deeper in sandy or soft soils) and anchor the stay feet into the ground. Attach your fence wire to the wire attachment points and tension as normal. Tips: The economy kit is suited to lighter-duty fencing applications — for high-tension or high-stock-pressure end assemblies, consider the drivable post version (RSAT4.5) or a heavier specification. Ensure all bolts and pins are fully engaged before tensioning the fence — partial engagement is a common cause of end assembly failure. Grease all moving parts before assembly in sandy country.

Do I need to weld or drill anything?

No welding or drilling required. The kit is bolt-on, so once your strainer post is in the ground, the assembly takes less than five minutes to install.

What are the dimensions of the post and stay?

The post is 100 NB (114mm O.D) and 2100mm (7') long with a wall thickness of 3.2mm. The stay is 40 NB (48mm O.D) and 3250mm (11') long with a wall thickness of 2.3mm.

Will this kit last outdoors?

Yes. The kit is made from galvanised steel, so it's termite proof, rot proof, fireproof, and built to last in tough outdoor conditions.
