It gives good protection to the wound as well as absorbing any fluids exuded. Cut roll to length and shape as required to dress wound.
Vet Tip:
Cut rolls in half (lengthwise) with a scalpel blade to make it easier to unroll the cotton around a horse’s leg and create a more even distribution of padding.
