Unroll the mesh along your fence line and secure the top edge to your existing fence with wire or clips, spacing them about 30cm apart to prevent sagging. Bury the bottom 15-20cm of mesh underground or bend it outward along the ground to stop dogs digging underneath. Pull the mesh taut as you go and overlap joins by at least 10cm, then wire them securely together so there's no gap a determined dog can exploit. Tips: The 2mm mesh is fine enough to stop wild dogs getting their jaws or claws through, but check it regularly for holes or damage after rough weather or if stock have pushed against it. Bury it deep enough or turn it outward on the ground—most dogs will give up if they can't dig under within a metre or so, but a determined animal will keep trying if there's an easy way through.
