LEVABAMAX COMBINATION POUR-ON dose rate is 1 mL/20 kg body weight (0.5 mg/kg abamectin and 10 mg/kg levamisole). Apply along the backline of the animal, using the LEVABAMAX COMBINATION POUR-ON applicator, in a strip starting between the shoulder blades. Under 100 kg dose at rate of 0.5 mL/10 kg bodyweight. Cattle heavier than 650 kg should be dosed at 1 mL/20 kg bodyweight. A representative sample of animals should be weighed before treatment either with scales or a weighband. Dose rate to be based on heaviest cattle in each group (bulls, cows, steers, calves, etc.). Recommended dose should not be exceeded. Doses of 3 or more times the recommended dose can cause symptoms of levamisole toxicity so estimate weights carefully. Where there is a large variation in size within the group, draft into 2 or more lines based on body weight to avoid excessive overdosing. This product is not to be given orally or injected. LEVABAMAX COMBINATION POUR-ON is not compatible with other guns. Rain occurring as early as 2 hours after treatment is unlikely to affect the efficacy of the product. However rainfall on cattle less than 2 hours after treatment may result in reduced efficacy. LEVABAMAX COMBINATION POUR-ON should not be applied to wet animals. DO NOT RE-TREAT animals for 35 days after last treatment. This product is contraindicated for use in calves under 16 weeks of age or less than 50 kg body weight. Do not treat cattle shortly prior to showing. Always read the registered label before use (APVMA 94680).
