Cydectin Platinum Dual Active LV Pour-On for Beef and Dairy Cattle (APVMA 88072). POISON.
Cydectin Platinum is an endectocide with efficacy in treating and controlling gastrointestinal parasites and existing cattle tick infestations in cattle.
Active constituents: 200 g/L levamisole, 10 g/L moxidectin. Also contains 188 g/L diethylene glycol monobutyl ether.
CYDECTIN PLATINUM is effective against strains of gastrointestinal nematodes with single or dual resistance to the macrocyclic lactone family (including one or more of: abamectin, doramectin, ivermectin and/or moxidectin) and/or imidazothiazoles (levamisole).
CYDECTIN PLATINUM is effective against existing moxidectin-sensitive cattle tick infestations including strains resistant to organophosphates, synthetic pyrethroids, amidines (Amitraz) and flurazuron.
New contamination of pasture is reduced for 21-35 days after treatment (see label for the worm species).
Dose: The volume to use is 1 mL per 20 kg live weight, applied along the top of the back from withers to the base of the tail. Efficacy is not affected by exposure to rain as early as 2 hours after treatment.
