Common Questions
What pests does Cyborg Plus control?
Cyborg Plus is registered for the control of Fruitspotting Bug, Macadamia Nut Borer, and other insect pests of Avocados and Macadamias. For the full list of target pests and approved uses, refer to the Directions for Use Table on the product label.
What makes Cyborg Plus different from older formulations?
Cyborg Plus is a high-loading formulation that requires significantly less volume per application compared to earlier Beta-cyfluthrin products. It has also been reformulated without the solvent Xylene, making it non-dangerous goods with reduced odour and flammability. This also means lower transport and disposal costs.
How long does Cyborg Plus protect crops?
Cyborg Plus provides long residual protection from insect pests, resulting in fewer spray applications needed over the season. It also works quickly to knock down existing insect populations and reduce further crop damage.
Why is rotating chemistry important with Cyborg Plus?
Rotating Cyborg Plus with other chemistry groups helps manage the risk of insect resistance. Using the same chemistry repeatedly can reduce its effectiveness over time. For specific advice on resistance management and rotation strategies for your situation, contact a local agronomist or call TGRM on (07) 5482 1692.
Where can I find dosage and safety instructions?
All application rates, dilution guidance, safety directions, and withholding periods are detailed on the registered product label and Safety Data Sheet (SDS). Always read and follow the label completely before use. If you have questions about your specific situation, contact your agronomist or TGRM on (07) 5482 1692 or visit us at 55 Tozer St, Gympie.
