Foals 50-100g

Place sufficient blocks so stock have ready access to blocks. May be fed in stable, yard or paddock.

Place the All Horses Lick Block in an accessible location away from water troughs, using approximately 1 block per 10-20 animals depending on herd size and consumption rates. Position blocks on hard ground or in sheltered areas to prevent excessive weathering and mud accumulation. Allow animals free-choice access to the block — they will self-regulate consumption based on their nutritional requirements. Monitor intake regularly and replace blocks as they are consumed. Tips: Position multiple blocks in larger paddocks to ensure all animals, including subordinate stock, can access supplementation without competition. Lick blocks provide targeted micronutrient and mineral supplementation but do not supply significant energy — if your animals require additional energy, combine blocks with appropriate grain or hay supplementation. Check blocks weekly during high consumption periods and after heavy rain, as weathering can affect palatability and availability.
