How it work:
Spinosad and Milbemycin oxime are the active ingredients in Comfortis Plus.
Spinosad ingredient is from spinosyns class of insecticides that are non-antibacterial tetracyclic macrolides.
Spinosad attacks the neurons which causes involuntary muscle contractions and eventually leads to paralysis.
Hence, all the fleas are destroyed. It also prevents flea re-infestation in dogs and puppies.
The other ingredient Milbemycin oxime works on intestinal worms and immature heartworms.
Thus, it eliminates these parasites and protects dogs against harmful heartworm and common worm infections.
Comfortis Plus should be administered monthly with food for maximum effectiveness.
