This post driver has recently been developed by Christie Engineering and manufactured by us for the harsh Australian environment.
It is lightweight and portable while being powerful enough to drive a star pickets to strainer posts into the hardest ground in a matter of seconds.
The CHPD107 has the capacity to drive larger section steel pipe from 65-90 nominal bore and comes with easy-install adaptors and anvils to suit.
The design enables the operator to move along a fence line with ease much faster than traditional air and hydraulic driven units.
All internal components are manufactured from the highest quality precision machined materials to give the longest tool life possible.
The harsh hammering action is isolated from the operator via spring cushioned handles allowing many hours of fatigue free operation even by commercial operators.
The power plant is the ultra-reliable Honda GX50 1.5kW motor boasting 3 year Australia wide warranty.
The post driver now also carries a 3 year major parts failure warranty (Excludes normal wear).
Potential buyers be aware that there are other cheaper versions on the market that look very similar to our unit.

Common Questions
What posts can the CHPD107 drive?
All of the post types for the CHPD78, plus 50 – 90NB pipe for strainer posts, end stays and stockyard posts, and round posts up to 105mm. It is NOT suitable for 100NB pipe (optional accessory sold separately). It includes 107-78mm and 107-52mm reducing bushes and multi size NB pipe anvils (50-90NB).
What engine and weight?
A genuine Honda GX50 1.5kW (2.0hp) 4-stroke motor with recoil (pull start). Unit weight is 17.5kg.
What warranty applies?
The Honda motor includes a 3 year Australia wide warranty, and Christie Engineering gives a 3 year major parts failure warranty (excludes normal wear).
How often should it be serviced?
Honda recommends a motor oil change every 6 months or 50 hours. Christie recommends a strip and service of the driver every 800 hrs or 18 months, whichever comes first, using only the specified Caltex EP C0 grease.

Yes, but freight on this product is quoted individually rather than calculated at checkout.
