Slide the 115mm x 42mm oval cattle rail into the saddle brackets mounted on your upright posts, ensuring full seating at each end. Span rails 2.4-3m between uprights. Use rail joiners where two lengths meet and end caps on all exposed ends. Weld or bolt securely to uprights according to your yard layout. Tips: The 2.0mm wall thickness is the lighter of the two oval rail sizes — suited to smaller operations and lighter cattle breeds. For intensive yards, race systems, or larger breeds, the 2.5mm wall version provides better resistance to bending. Always end-cap all cut rail ends immediately to eliminate sharp edges before stock enter the yard.
