CAMPBELLS GOLD PLUS COMPOUND FERTILIZER 25KG CAMP-GOLD-25K at a glance

Gold Plus has been used in Australian horticulture for over 30 years.

A dry spread application fertiliser that provides the required nutrition for vegetables, fruits, vines, flowers, turf and ornamentals.

Nutrient Forms:

Nitrogen is present both as Nitrate and Ammonium.

The readily available Nitrate Nitrogen gives an immediate growth response, while the more slowly available Ammonium Nitrogen ensures a long-lasting effect.

Potassium is present as Sulphate of Potash only, which makes the product Chloride free.

Secondary Nutrients and Micronutrients are present, with amounts tailored to horticultural production, with emphasis on Sulphur, Magnesium and Calcium.

Features:

Campbells Gold Plus provides a correctly balanced ratio of two macronutrients, Nitrogen and Potassium, essential for ongoing growth and development as well as supplying Magnesium to maintain full colour development of crops.

Gold Plus is a true compound fertiliser, not simply a mixture of different fertilisers pressed into a granular form (a granulated blend) or different fertilisers physically mixed together (a blended fertiliser).

The consistent granule size range allows uniform application with no separation of nutrients.

Application:

Campbells Gold Plus is ideal as a top dressing or base dressing.

It is a non-dusting, free flowing product that can be applied as a band or broadcast, or incorporated into the growing medium.

Application Rates:

General rates for horticultural crops are between 150 to 600 kg/ha.

The actual rates, number of applications and their timing will vary considerably for different crops and for different districts.

Before application, seek advice from your Campbell’s distributor or your local agronomist.

Analysis:

15% Nitrogen, 16.6% Potassium, 7.6% Sulphur, 3.0% Magnesium, 2.0% Calcium, 0.06% Iron, 0.03% Boron, 0.01% Zinc and 0.001% Molybdenum

Apply CAMPBELLS GOLD PLUS at rates determined by soil test results and your target pasture or crop yield. Spread evenly across paddocks using appropriate spreading equipment, ideally during rainfall or irrigated periods for best nutrient uptake. For SE Queensland conditions, application rates typically range from 200-500 kg/ha depending on soil type and deficiency levels. Avoid application during extreme heat or drought stress. Tips: Always conduct a soil test before application to determine the correct blend ratio for your specific soil type — sandy coastal soils, basalt downs and red clay country have vastly different P and K requirements in SE Queensland. Apply when soil moisture is adequate to activate nutrient availability, and consider split applications for pastures in high rainfall areas to minimise leaching losses.

Common Questions

What is Gold Plus used for?

Gold Plus is a dry spread fertiliser designed for vegetables, fruits, vines, flowers, turf and ornamentals. It can be applied as a top dressing or base dressing, either broadcast, as a band, or incorporated into the growing medium.

How does Gold Plus work?

Gold Plus contains Nitrogen in two forms — Nitrate Nitrogen for immediate growth response, and Ammonium Nitrogen for long-lasting effect. It also supplies Potassium as Sulphate of Potash (chloride free), plus Magnesium to maintain full colour development of crops, and secondary nutrients and micronutrients tailored for horticultural production.

What's the difference between Gold Plus and other fertilisers?

Gold Plus is a true compound fertiliser, not a mixture or blend of different fertilisers pressed or mixed together. This means the nutrient ratio is consistent throughout every granule, and the uniform granule size allows even application with no separation of nutrients.

How much should I apply?

General rates for horticultural crops are between 150 to 600 kg/ha, but the actual rates, number of applications and timing vary considerably depending on your crop and district. Before application, seek advice from your Campbell's distributor or your local agronomist, or check the product label.

How long has Gold Plus been around?

Gold Plus has been used in Australian horticulture for over 30 years.
