The "A" type camlocks have a male grooved adaptor and a female BSP thread of the same size.

The male grooved end fits into any female camlock fitting of the same size.

This unit is 40mm male x 40mm female BSP thread.

Polypropylene material

This Type A camlock has a male grooved (cam) adaptor end and a female 40mm BSP threaded end. To join the cam end, push it into a matching female camlock coupling and swing both cam arms down until they lock - no tools or hose clamps are needed, and the rubber seal inside the coupling makes the joint watertight. To connect the threaded end, wind the female BSP thread onto a male BSP fitting (such as a tank outlet, pump port or valve) using thread tape or a suitable thread sealant, then tighten. Check all connections are secure before pressurising the system. Tips: Make sure the gasket is seated in the female camlock coupling before you lock the arms. Keep the grooved cam face clean so the arms seat fully. Support any hose or pipe so its weight doesn't strain the connection.
