Polypropylene material

This is a Type A camlock adaptor: a male grooved (cam) end and a same-size 25 mm female BSP thread — it has no barb and no poly-pipe connection, so do not fit hose clamps or use solvent weld. To connect the cam end, push the male grooved adaptor into any matching 25 mm female camlock coupler and close the two cam arms over the groove to lock it — a gasket in the female coupler forms the seal. To connect the threaded end, wrap the male BSP thread of your tap, valve or pump outlet with thread tape and screw the female BSP thread of this adaptor onto it, then tighten with a spanner. Open the cam arms to disconnect for quick coupling and uncoupling. Tips: Check the camlock gasket is present and undamaged for a leak-free seal, and match camlock size and type to the mating fitting. Do not over-tighten the BSP thread on plastic. This adaptor is polypropylene — keep it out of prolonged UV when not in use.
