Camlock fittings are used to connect hose fittings and/or pipe fittings together in a numerous number of industries.

This enables liquids to be transferred from one place to another.

No tools are required to connect camlock fittings which makes them super easy to use, time saving and cost efficient.

Camlock fittings are an extremely versatile and durable product and are well suited to situations where frequent changes occur.

Wrap the male BSP thread with PTFE thread tape (3-4 wraps in a clockwise direction) to create a watertight seal. Screw the adaptor's male BSP thread into a matching 40mm (1-1/2") female BSP fitting or outlet by hand, then tighten by about one full turn with an adjustable spanner — do not over-tighten. To connect a hose line, push a matching 40mm (1-1/2") male camlock adaptor into the female camlock end and close both cam arms down until they lock; no hose clamp is required for the camlock connection. Tips: This is a Type B camlock — a 40mm (1-1/2") female camlock coupler on one end and a 40mm (1-1/2") male BSP thread on the other. Test your connection under pressure before permanently installing the line to confirm the seal is watertight. For easier future disconnection, apply a light coat of grease to the camlock connection point.
