Calcium nitrate is a readily soluble form of calcium and nitrogen which is able to be applied through all fertigation systems and is suitable for any situation where nitrogen and calcium is required.

The nitrogen in calcium nitrate is fully available to plants and provides an immediate and predictable growth response.

The calcium helps to reduce plant disorders such as bitter pit of apples, blossom end rot of tomatoes and capsicums, hollow heart of brassica crops, and assists in reducing tip burn of lettuce.

Calcium is an essential nutrient for the development of all plant tissues and adequate supply and uptake assures a longer shelf life for all horticultural crops.

Apply Calcium Nitrate Soluble at rates determined by soil test results and your target pasture or crop yield. Spread evenly across paddocks using a fertiliser spreader for uniform coverage. Apply during growing season when soil moisture is adequate to maximise nutrient uptake. For best results, incorporate into soil or water in thoroughly after application. Tips: Always conduct a soil test before application to determine the correct blend ratio for your specific paddock, as P and K requirements vary significantly across SE Queensland's coastal sands, basalt downs and red clay soils. Store in a dry location away from moisture to prevent caking and maintain product quality.
