Claims
- Treatment and prevention of flea (Ctenocephalides felis) infestations for 3 months.
- Treatment and control of paralysis tick (Ixodes holocyclus) for 10 weeks.
- Treatment and control of bush tick (Haemaphysalis longicornis) for 3 months.
- Prevention of heartworm disease caused by Dirofilaria immitis, continuously retreat at 3-month intervals.
- Prevention of lungworm disease caused by Aelurostrongylus abstrusus, continuously retreat at 12-week intervals.
- Treatment and control of roundworm (immature adults (L5) and adults of Toxocara cati and adults of Toxascaris leonina).
- Treatment and control of hookworm (4th stage larvae (L4), immature adults (L5) and adults of Ancylostoma tubaeforme).
- Treatment and control of ear mites (Otodectes cynotis).
Fleas are killed by 12 hours after treatment. Bravecto Plus kills pre-existing and new infestations of paralysis ticks (Ixodes holocyclus) within 48 hours of treatment. For paralysis tick control it is recommended that the product be used in conjunction with daily searching for, and removal of, any ticks found. Treatment with Bravecto Plus alone will not entirely eliminate the risk of tick paralysis.
Precautions
Not recommended for use on kittens less than 9 weeks of age or cats weighing less than 1.2 kg. The safety of the product has not been established in breeding, pregnant or lactating animals and therefore use in such animals is not recommended. Care should be taken to avoid contact with the eyes of the animal. Must not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to the active constituents or to any of the excipients. For topical use; should not be administered orally. The product should not be administered at intervals shorter than 8 weeks as the safety at shorter intervals has not been tested.

How long does Bravecto Plus protect my cat?
The label claims treatment and prevention of fleas for 3 months, treatment and control of paralysis tick for 10 weeks and bush tick for 3 months. For heartworm prevention, continuously retreat at 3-month intervals; for lungworm prevention, at 12-week intervals; for paralysis tick, administer at intervals of 10 weeks.
How quickly does it work?

How do I open the pipette?
Make no attempt to remove the cap - the cap does not come off. Twist the cap and use. Apply the dose as indicated on the label to prevent the cat from licking and ingesting the product.
