USE:

For straining the fence line on the end of a fence line or at each side of a gate opening.
This configuration is for an Inline or 2 way configuration or a Corner, or change of direction.

Install the strainer at the end of your fence line where you need to anchor and tension your wire. Attach the 2-way box end to your post using the appropriate fasteners, then thread your wire through both directions as needed. Tighten the stay mechanism gradually to tension the wire evenly — don't crank it all at once or you'll risk pulling the post out of line. Check your tension after a few days as the wire will settle. Tips: Always use a proper tensioning tool rather than trying to force it by hand — you'll get better tension and won't wear yourself out. Make sure your end post is set deeper and stronger than your standard posts, as a strainer takes serious load and a weak post will shift the whole fence out of square. In Queensland heat, recheck your tensions after a few months as wire expands and contracts with temperature changes.
