Removes Bot Eggs with a flick of the wrist.

A great safe knife to get those nasty bot fly eggs off your horse safely.

Bot flies lay sticky pale yellow eggs on horse's hair, usually on the forearms belly and chest.

Adult bot flies lay their eggs on horses, the flies do this instinctively.

Especially designed to reach areas where bot eggs exists

Will not gouge

Use the bot egg knife to physically scrape and flick bot fly eggs off your horse's coat – it is a grooming tool, not something you give the horse. Bot flies lay sticky pale-yellow eggs on the hair, usually on the forearms, belly and chest. Draw the blade across the hair in short strokes with a flick of the wrist to lift the eggs away; the blade is shaped to reach these areas and will not gouge the skin. Work over the horse regularly through bot-fly season, whenever eggs are visible, to reduce the number of eggs that can be ingested during grooming and licking. Tips: Groom in good light so you can see the pale eggs against the coat. Wipe the blade clean between uses and store it safely out of reach – this is a sharp, age-restricted tool. Pair egg removal with your normal worm-control program for best results against bots.
